Can you get salmonella from putting raw eggs on your skin?

I know that ingesting raw eggs can cause salmonella but I was going to do a face mask with raw egg because it's supposed to be really good for your skin. But, I don't really want salmonella. Word on the street is that it's preeetty nasty.
