How should my roommates doctor be handling her allergic reaction to PENICILLIN? ?

im not sure if an allergy test can be done, but regardless of the results, as long as it is an allergic reaction, all she can get is benadryl because it is an antihistamine which means it treats allergic reactions. has she tried the benadryl cream vs the tablets? maybe that will work a little better
