McCain the Maverick a little to Maverick?

McCain say's he has fought and will fight no only with the other party but his own as well. He say's as a maverick he has made many enemy's. Haven't we done this for eight years now? Isn't it time that we have a leader willing to bring both party's together to make change rather than continued fighting? McCain comes off as an attack dog ready to lung, Obama seems more on an even temperament willing to listen and negotiate.
